Artiste multidisciplinaire, Alice Zerini-Le Reste (elle) explore principalement la céramique, le dessin et la photographie. Originaire de Tiotià:ke / Montréal, Canada, son terrain de création est toutefois mobile et son travail résulte d’une rencontre avec le paysage et les histoires. Elle vit et travaille en ce moment à Stockholm, en Suède.
Sa démarche est axée sur la recherche, enracinée dans l'expérimentation et la transformation. En faisant du processus une partie intégrante du travail, elle favorise un dialogue inclusif, scientifique et poétique. Se déployant sous forme de série, ces œuvres sont modulables et explore le travail de la ligne tant l’espace que sur la surface. Elle s’intéresse à la magnificence de certains objets ou lieux ainsi qu’aux chevauchements ambigus qui peuvent exister entre le passé et le présent, le mécanique et l’organique, l’imaginaire et le réel. Entrecroisant science, histoire et art, elle examine la mémoire collective pour en extraire un langage du quotidien, un récit alternatif et poétique, quelque part entre le travail d'un archiviste et celui d'un artiste.

Alice Zerini-Le Reste (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist working mainly with ceramics, drawing, and photography. Originally from Tiotià:ke / Montreal, Canada, her work method is however mobile and the result act as the response with the landscape and stories she encounteres. She is currently living and working in Stockholm. Sweden.
Her approach is research-driven, rooted in experimentation and transformation. By making the process an integral part of the work, she fosters a dialogue that is inclusive, scientific, and poetic. Behind each project lies the use of photography as an archival tool to capture her influences, while drawing serves as a means of reinterpreting reality and developing a personal pictorial narrative. Transitioning from drawing to ceramics, she uses the material both as a canvas and a way to materialize three-dimensional lines. Interweaving science, storytelling, and art, she examines collective memory to extract an everyday language—an alternative narrative that lies somewhere between the work of an archivist and that of an artist.
